Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Become part of the solution for a national health care crisis.

A student from the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ nursing program engaged in community work

Even as the health care provider shortage improves, Americans are still struggling to access desperately needed mental health services. As recently as 2016, two-thirds of primary care physicians reported difficulty finding mental health care providers for their patients.

Our student-focused nursing faculty equips the nurses who can help solve this problem with the BSN to DNP psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program. Nurses with a BSN and one year of experience can earn their DNP in just three years and make a meaningful difference in communities where mental health services are needed most.
