The university is celebrating renewed values following an inclusive yearlong process with campus members and others to identify values that will help take ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ into its next 150 years. After extensive and intentional work with its faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni and members of the ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ Board of Trustees, the board approved four values and associated descriptors to help guide actions and behaviors that foster ÐÓ°É´«Ã½â€™s uniquely engaging campus culture. At the heart are integrity, engagement, community and excellence:
Integrity as the foundation of learning, discovery and ethical leadership. We embrace personal accountability and our shared responsibility to foster a community of leaders who have the uncompromising commitment and conscience to make a difference for the greater good.
Engagement that impacts personal and academic growth. We foster responsible and ethical leadership by actively participating in the learning process and the community around us.
Community and a culture of belonging. We celebrate our differences and serve one another with openness, trust, humility and mutual respect.

In the coming months, ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ will be promoting what these values look like implemented throughout the campus and celebrating how they are lived out as a Horned Frog.
